Physical Simulation in Virtual Reality
Grünseisen, Vojtěch ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
This work describes using of SDL, OSG and ODE as tools in game development and how they can be integrated to work together. Theory about collision detection and its role in physics engine is also described. Used libraries are described as well. With this engine a game scene is created and driven. This scene contains bodies connected by ODE Joints. Scene content and application controls are meant to resemble first person shooter game style.
Using ODE for Design of Dynamic Model of a Four-legged Robot
Seriš, Richard ; Krejsa, Jiří (referee) ; Ondroušek, Vít (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor‘s thesis is to design the dynamic model of four-legged robot Qasimodo by using ODE and programming languange Python, based on analysed parameters and known walking gait parameters. Forward dynamic walking gait task is used to comapare behavior of the model with the real robot Qasimodo. Strike a balance and review of ODE usability for this task. This thesis also reviews suitability and complexity of using ODE for dynamic simulation of the walking gaits of the robot.
Software for simulation of control algorithms with C code generation for microcontroller
Fiala, Martin ; Lamberský, Vojtěch (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This work is concerned with simulation of signal processing in a simple scheme with one controller, plant and feedback by open-source programming language Python. Moreover it is concerned with generating C-code for microcontrollers and in consequent check up of signal processing which is processed by microcontroller. This check up is done by serial interface.
Auto Taxi System Design for Aircraft
Numerical Integration .NET Graphical Editor
Kučera, Martin ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the numerical solution of systems of first-order differential equations with initial conditions, using chosen one-step methods. It describes the design, implementation and testing of the application that is able to use these methods to solve the tasks entered in form of block schemes. The first part is devoted to an introduction of the topic, it provides an example of calculation of several steps using chosen methods and compares the results. A substantial part of the report deals with form and function of each block used in the block schemes editor and the transformation process of input data to data usable for creating simulation. The penultimate chapter demonstrates the accuracy of the final application. It shows solutions of a few simple examples of practical usage. This chapter also includes comparison with other simulation systems.
Numerical Methods Accuracy vs Precision of Arithmetic
Kluknavský, František ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
Thesis is dedicated to evaluation of roundoff impact on numerical integration methods accuracy and effectivity. Contains theoretical expectations taken from existing literature, implementation of chosen methods, experimental measurement of attained accuracy under different circumstances and their comparison with regard to time complexity. Library contains Runge-Kutta methods to order 7 and Adams-Bashforth methods to order 20 implemented using C++ templates which allow optional arbitrary-precision arithmetic. Small models with known analytic solution were used for experiments.
Periodic solutions of ordinary differential equations
Mitro, Erik ; Janovský, Vladimír (advisor) ; Felcman, Jiří (referee)
The thesis deals with periodic solutions of ordinary differential equations and examining of their stability. We are mainly limited to scalar differential equations. The first chapter is devoted to the stability of periodic solutions that is related to the Poincaré map. The aim is to decide on the asymptotic stability/instability of the fixed point of this map. To this end we need to compute derivatives of the Poincaré map of the first order or, possibly, of the higher orders. In the second chapter we introduce the concept of bifurcation and we examine the population model. In the third chapter we briefly mention the Van der Pol oscillator i.e the system of two equations. We illustrate the theory by examples.
Ode in the poetry of Pablo Neruda
Povýšilová, Ester ; Poláková, Dora (advisor) ; Holub, Jiří (referee)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with the poetry of the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, with focus on his odes. The thesis chronicles important moments of Neruda's life, the possible division of his work, different influences which affected Neruda's poetry output, and will subsequently emphasis the odes from several points of view. Most attention is dedicated to the thematic aspect of the odes, furthermore their style and schematic structure. The aim of this thesis is not just to provide a comprehensive image of Neruda's odes and the context of his preced-ing work and influences to the Czech reader, but also to discover why they are so popular and the font of their power and magic. Key words Pablo Neruda, poetry, ode
